Our Office, TTPO Nicosia
Export Promotion Center of Turkey, shortly IGEME, is a non-profit government organization affiliated to the Undersecretariat of the Prime Ministry for Foreign Trade. Since its establishment in 1960, IGEME has gained a wealth of experience in assisting the foreign enterprises in doing business with Turkey, while on the other hand supporting Turkish entrepreneurs in their efforts to export more, as the primary means of its existence. IGEME, with its branch offices home and abroad, offers a rich variety of activities to the use of Turkish and foreign business circles.
TTPO-Turkish Trade Promotion Office, one of the branch offices of İGEME, was established in 1996, with the aim of promoting bilateral trade relations between Turkey and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC). TTPO also provides the exporters in the TRNC with trade information and consultancy services with the aim of promoting their exports to international markets.

Services (Our services are rendered free of charge)
We provide the businessmen with up-to-date trade-related information regarding Turkey and TRNC through a variety of tools. Trade information provided by TTPO include the trade environment, the rules and regulations concerning trade and foreign investment, customs formalities, statistical data, starting a business, information on sectors and products, annual trade fair programs and etc.
Business Matching
TTPO helps you find trade partners in Turkey and TRNC. Trade inquiries from buyers and sellers are immediately disseminated to related bodies.
Upon request we publish your inquiry in İGEME’s “Daily Foreign Trade News Bulletin” free of charge.This bulletin has a wide circulation among the business circles in Turkey and reaches the subscribers through fax as well as electronic mail. We publish your inquiry whether it is export, import or joint venture, etc.
We have a rich company data-base including exporters, importers and trade-related organizations. TTPO puts you on the right track by providing you with the contact information of the related companies, agencies, government offices and associations.
TTPO also organizes business meetings and assists and guides businessmen planning business visits/trade missions to Turkey and TRNC.
Training
TTPO organizes training activities and consultancy services for companies in TRNC in order to increase their effectiveness in international markets.
Publications
Copies of IGEME'S publications can be obtained from our Office. TTPO distributes promotional materials such as books, directories, brochures, CDs and etc. prepared by IGEME.
